Gamma Alpha is so excited and humbled to announce our achievements for the past year! This summer, our LC had the amazing opportunity to attend AOII's National Convention in Washington, DC. It was here where they were awarded with seven awards!

We are very humbled to accept so many meaningful awards from George Mason's 2016-2017 Standards of Excellence Awards!

  • Highest Level Chapter of Excellence
Our sister Savannah Behrmann was presented the Service Program of the Year for her "Write Back Baton Rouge" service event she hosted this fall! Lastly, our chapter advisor, Tina Byer, was awarded the Committed Advisor of the Year. We could not be more proud as a chapter and we thanks the George Mason Community for all their help in our success!

Click here As if the semester couldn't have gotten any better, we were humbled to receive three Panhellenic awards. Rebekah Pettine received the Emerging Leader Award, Gemma Pearson received Rho Gamma of the Year and, as a whole, AOII won the Chapter Panhellenic Spirit Award.

What Our Sisterhood is Founded On

Alpha Omicron Pi was founded on the principles of character, dignity, scholarship and college loyalty. The Gamma Alpha chapter at George Mason University constantly strives to exceed this expectation. All of our members are smart, social, and well poised young women who work everyday to contribute to GMU and our community as a whole.
